Programme and Project Staff

You will be working in a project or programme to deliver change in an organisation. You will want to know about the methodology being used in your project and programme and how your role fits in with other people. You will want to acquire knowledge and skills to help you do your job to make the project or programme successful. Read more in our article on doing change.

Here's how you do it.

Considering taking a number of courses? Then look at our Certificate package.

There is no specific course for a project or programme manager because you will probably want to do a professional practitioner course on PRINCE2® or APM, or MSP® (Managing Successful Programmes). However, the project or programme overview course will give you a good start on the practitioner courses and the topics courses go into more depth than a typical practitioner course as well as providing practical work which is not included in most practitioner courses.

If you are working with staff to deliver change, perhaps as a senior user on a project, then you should also see the Change Manager role page.

PRINCE2® and MSP® are Registered Trade Marks of the Cabinet Office.
